Economics
| Item | Default |
|---|---|
| Platform fee | 10% of gross subscription revenue |
| Your share | ~90% minus any affiliate commission you enable |
| Affiliate % | 0–30% (seller-set; 0% disables promoter payouts) |
Illustrative example: a $49/mo listing with one active subscriber earns you about $44.10/mo before affiliate share—actual results vary.
Positioning and pricing
- Lead with process and risk, not guaranteed returns.
- Show backtest or live-tracked performance where honest; link Using the Automations Leaderboard.
- Price for your audience: educators and advisors often start modestly to build subscriber proof.
- Use free listings ($0/mo) to onboard a community, then upsell paid tiers if you add them later.
Reward promoters (optional)
Set Affiliate % on your listing so influencers can share:
/automations/copy/{your_emitter_id}?mkt_ref=THEIR_CODE
Promoters earn on paid invoices while subscribers stay active. See Grow Affiliate Revenue on dogabot for the promoter playbook.
Advisor and signal-provider use cases
- Emitter + Follower model: clients execute on their own exchange accounts via Follower automations—no custody of client funds.
- Private listings + whitelist for invite-only groups; public listings for broader discovery.
- Pair listings with onboarding help: connect credentials, backtest guides.
Growth playbook
Content and trust
- Publish walkthroughs of your rules, entries, and risk controls.
- Share masked performance screenshots or leaderboard links—not hype.
- Answer questions in communities you already participate in; link your public seller profile when relevant.
Subscriber experience
- Ship the listing early; subscribers can follow while you finish Stripe.
- Respond to subscriber questions; churn hurts recurring revenue.
- Update listing descriptions when you change strategy behavior materially.
Cross-promotion
- Ask aligned creators to use
?mkt_ref=links if you enabled affiliate commission. - Pro referrals (
?ref=) earn on dogabot Pro signups, not marketplace subs—different lane.
Compliance
- You are responsible for listing accuracy and subscriber communications.
- Do not promise guaranteed trading profits.
- Follow exchange and regional rules applicable to your audience.
Program terms
Platform fees, payout timing, refunds, and listing rules are in the Marketplace Seller Program section of the Terms of Service and may change.
