You can publish marketplace listings and accept subscribers immediately—you do not need to finish payout setup first. Buyers always subscribe through dogabot checkout; your seller share is tracked on the Seller Dashboard and paid out after you configure a payout destination and each billing period ends.
This guide explains listing activation, Stripe vs USDC payout paths, what the balance labels mean, and how nightly payouts work.
Before you start
- A dogabot Pro plan (marketplace seller features)
- An Emitter automation you own and want to sell access to
- A payout destination when you are ready to receive earnings:
- Stripe Connect (Brazil only — bank transfer), or
- USDC crypto wallet (global — Base, Ethereum, Polygon, or Solana)
Open Seller Dashboard in the sidebar (/marketplace/seller) to manage listings, view stats, and configure payouts under Payout Settings.
Step 1: Activate your listing
- Sign in to dogabot.
- Open Seller Dashboard (
/marketplace/seller). - Create or edit a listing from your Emitter—set monthly price, visibility, and optional affiliate commission.
- Turn Active on so buyers can subscribe.
Free listings ($0/mo) enroll followers instantly when payout setup is not complete yet. Paid listings open Stripe Checkout for the buyer either way.
Step 2: Accept subscribers (payout setup optional at first)
Buyers are not blocked when you have not finished payout setup.
| Your payout setup | Free listing | Paid listing |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe Connect active (Brazil) | Checkout completes; Stripe pays you each period | Stripe splits payment to your Connect account each period |
| USDC wallet active or not set up yet | Instant enrollment—no card charge | Buyer pays dogabot; your share accrues on the Seller Dashboard |
Crypto sellers always use platform-collected checkout (dogabot charges the buyer; your share accrues in the ledger until USDC payout). Stripe Connect sellers with active payouts can receive destination charges (Stripe splits each invoice automatically).
Focus on listing quality and subscriber experience first; complete payout setup when you are ready to receive earnings.
Step 3: Set up payouts
- On Seller Dashboard, scroll to Payout Settings.
- Select your payout country.
- Choose your payout method:
- Brazil: Stripe (bank) or USDC crypto wallet
- Outside Brazil: USDC crypto wallet only
- Complete setup:
- Stripe: click Set up payouts and finish Stripe identity and bank details (Brazil only).
- Crypto: enter your wallet address and network, then save.
The same payout destination is used for all dogabot earnings—Pro referral commissions, marketplace affiliate earnings, and marketplace seller earnings. If you already configured payouts on Earn (/earn), Seller Dashboard reuses that profile.
You can switch methods later (for example Stripe ↔ USDC in Brazil). Only one method is active at a time; your other setup stays saved if you switch back.
For Stripe’s business description, explain that dogabot collects customer payments and pays you through platform transfers for strategy subscriptions you sell on the marketplace.
USDC crypto payouts
- Supported networks: Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Solana
- dogabot pays USDC on the network you select
- Double-check your wallet address—incorrect addresses can lose funds
- Crypto payouts may be processed manually during early rollout; timing follows the same holdback and minimum thresholds as other program payouts
Understand your balance labels
When dogabot collects a paid subscription before or without an active Stripe destination-charge path, earnings appear under Payout Settings:
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Awaiting payout setup | Subscriber paid; finish Stripe or save a USDC wallet to unlock this balance |
| Billing period in progress | Payout setup is ready; waiting for the subscriber’s current invoice period to end |
| Ready for next payout | Period ended and amount is eligible for the nightly payout job |
If you complete payout setup while a period is still running, balances move from Awaiting payout setup to Billing period in progress automatically.
When payouts run
Seller payouts need both:
- Payouts active on your profile (Stripe Connect ready or USDC wallet saved)
- The billing period ended for that subscription invoice (typically monthly)
Example: A buyer subscribes on January 1 and pays immediately. Your share for that invoice becomes payable around February 1 (end of the billing period). If you finish payout setup on January 15, the amount stays in Billing period in progress until February 1, then moves to Ready for next payout.
dogabot runs a nightly payout job (shared with referral and affiliate payouts):
- Stripe Connect: transfer to your Connect account when balance meets the minimum payout threshold (commonly $50)
- USDC crypto: queued for manual USDC send to your saved wallet (same thresholds apply)
Refunds before payout claw back pending balances.
Once Stripe Connect is active from the start, paid subscriptions are split by Stripe each billing period—you will not see deferred balance rows for those charges. USDC sellers always see deferred ledger balances until each period ends and the nightly job runs.
Affiliate commissions (optional)
Sellers can set an Affiliate % on a listing so promoters earn a share when buyers subscribe through ?mkt_ref=CODE links. Affiliate payouts use the promoter’s shared payout profile (Stripe or USDC) and are separate from your seller balance. See Grow Affiliate Revenue on dogabot for the promoter side.
Tips for trading leaders
- Ship the listing early—subscribers can follow while you finish payout setup.
- Use public listings for discovery; private + whitelist for invite-only groups.
- Pair your listing with content: backtest results, rule explanations, and honest risk notes build trust.
- Track Monthly Revenue and follower counts on Seller Dashboard; deferred balances explain money not yet transferred.
